In honour of what would have been Elvis Presley's 75th birthday we are going to have a sandwich special today...you guessed it! Grilled peanut butter and banana with, of course, bacon!!!! For those of you who don't know by now, I am a HUGE Elvis fan. I will be playing the king on the stereo for as long as Nicole, our server, can handle! Other specials included...

Hello hello!
I hope everyone had a good holiday. It was nice to have a bit of a break, but I must say it is much nicer to be back! Too bad the snow had to wait until after the holidays. Still I am glad to have it...makes our little MG that much more cozy!

Good Morning! So as I was lying in bed this morning, contemplating how long I would hit snooze, I heard a man's voice through a mega phone and the cheering of a crowd. As you can imagine I was somewhat confused, seeing is it was 6:30am. Then in a booming voice I heard "GOOD MORNING! THE FLAME IS ON ITS WAY!!" I realised it was the Olympic Flame going by. I don't know how to feel about this. I am glad that I now have a story I can tell gran-kiddies when I am old, and this is a part of history blah blah but still...YOU WOKE ME UP!!! For that I have to be somewhat grumpy. Moving on!

On to the only sports news I particularly care about! Glory FC had a pretty killer game last night. We lost (1-0) but man did we fight hard! Hello everyone!
It's already been pretty busy here at MG. Nothing we cannot handle, of course. As I am sure you all know we don't "blog" on weekends, so because of this I would like to wish my Adam a very happy birthday. It's tomorrow, so for all of those who know him, when you see him shower him in birthday wishes...if you don't know him, just keep saying "happy birthday" to blonde haired twenty-something-year-olds men until one of them says "thank you". On to specials...

Hello!
A bit drizzly out today. Might be making people a bit drizzly too. Nothing that cannot be fixed with a quick visit to good old MG. Fresh coffee (or lattes, or hot chocolate or...well you should just come by and see what tickles your fancy) and lovely breakfasts. We can also do anything off our menu to go. Not a lot of people knew this. Sandwich, coffee, soup or even a breakfast all can be taken on the run! Imagine the possibilities!!! On to specials...
