helllloooooooooo! One more day until the long weekend, you lucky people you. For all of you that have to work this weekend, join the club. I would like to think that I have something better to do than work this weekend (or any other weekend for that matter) but I don't really. I really shouldn't complain. I mean consider this, I am either related to or friends with my co-workers, my mum comes down to visit and help out and my dad and sister drop by during their lunch hours. How much better can it get?? All in all I am pretty lucky to work here, long weekend or not.....here are your specials for today...

Apple Cinnamon Pancakes

Cheddar Cheese and Mushroom Omelette

Spiced Brownies with Coconut

Hello all, Jacki's on holiday so Hannah and I are sharing the cooking duties.  I have to say it feels good to be back here full-time but I do miss spending the mornings with Jake.  We did however get up a five this morning(his idea not mine) and had breakfast together before I had to leave for work.  We had rice cereal, yogurt and plums.  Here's what you can have if you come in today:

Mushroom and Cheddar omelette

Lemon poppyseed with raspberry muffins

Banana coconut muffins

Mango pancakes

All that other stuff

In MG news I have decided to switch to homogenized milk, it tastes richer and makes better capaccinos and lattes.  We will keep some 2% on hand for you die-hards.  Alex Tran from Mercury is coming in to train us to his standards on pulling espresso and foaming milk, look for our lattes to start kicking ass over the next few days.  Alex is going to the National Barista Championship this October in Montreal and we wish him luck.

James
