the squirrel was back again this morning. so, i guess he survived yesterday. it's still slow. i suspect it will get busier again after the long weekend. which, by the way, we will be open for. today we have blueberry pancakes, mushroom and havarti omelette and fresh baked muffins. it's going to be hot today. good thing our patio is so chillin. pun intended.

Another slow summer day here at Morning Glory. The omelette is sauteed leek and cheddar cheese, the pancakes are banana and the soup is chilled roasted red pepper. We have fresh baked muffins and chocolate chip cookies. The patio is lovely, all cleaned up and breezy. There was a squirrel out there this morning eating morning glory seeds, that can't be good and I expect we'll see it later laying on it's back in the laneway watching clouds

bonjour, allo, salut! friday friday friday!!!!!
it's such a nice day today. cool and breezy. i love fall. i can't wait to wear boots and sweaters and scarves. soon enough.. yes, soon enough. today we have lots of good stuff:
caramalized onion and cheddar omelette

coconut spinach soup (chilled)

well i should tend to the kitchen. hope to see all of you this weekend!

hey there......
thursday.... mmm hmmm... thursday.
today we have:
green onion, mushrooms and cheddar omelette
croque monsieur sandwich
banana pancakes
fresh baked blueberry muffins
roasted red pepper soup
soooo.. the season finale of hell's kitchen was on monday night. it was a pretty big deal for matt and i seeing as that's pretty much the only show we watch every week. we started recording it on our pvr cable box and the damn thing cuts out halfway through the show. so, basically i didn't even get to watch the finale. i just saw who won at the end. i won't spoil it for any of you who haven't watched yet. but, may i just say that rogers cable has proven to be the worst ever, there's always something going wrong with this thing. tell me again why i pay for this service.
anyway,, hope all of you who actually got to watch the show enjoyed it!

The poorly looking racoon has finally wandered off our patio so it's now rabies free. If I can get rid of the Duchess out front, MG will have a clean bill of health this morning.
