It is the last day of the month today. I guess that next year will be a Leap Year. I wonder what it would be like to have a birthday on February 29. I had a friend in grade school with that birthday, and it was always very funny to make jokes like, "Ha ha, Melissa's only three years old." But I'm sure those jokes get old after a while. And they are probably not nearly as funny for the person with the Leap Year birthday anyways.

i'm feeling bad cause i've been talking a little (well alot actually) smack about both cam and waylons BORING blogs as of late, and now all i have to offer today is this... not exactly seting the bar very high, but what ev... everyone's allowed an off day every once in a while, right?

we would like to put in a request for some sort of new, super-fast toaster, that runs on the old breadcrumbs that collect in the bottom.
also... we're wondering how the zero gravity testing is going with the monkeys on rollerskates? are you still doing that? if not we'd like to offer a job to one of the now out of work monkeys. with patio season rapidly approaching, i think thier rollerskating skills would come in handy...
... and besides, who wouldn't want breakfast served to them by a monkey on rollerskates?

..i saw my friend's jazz trio last night, they are called "the chase pack", it was bass, drums, and an organ. they are all stellar-tight and have a cd on the way. if you're in to creamy, groovy, modern jazz then i would
recommend the attendance of their live performance..

On the subject of strange-looking neighbourhood animals, if you have not yet heard about the "mysterious tunnel monster" of Cabbagetown, you might come in and read the article we have up on the board here. A paranormal creature apparently worthy of comparison with the Loch Ness monster or
the Yeti, it was sighted in a Cabbagetown neighbourhood tunnel in the summer of 1978 and is
described as about three feet tall, with long teeth, slate grey fur and fiery red eyes. James has suggested a springtime search for it in the local tunnel system.

I know this blog is getting a little bit long but James wants me to give you an update on the soccer team. They apparently played the best team in the league on Friday, and finished with what, considering, was a fairly honourable score of 12-nothing. A quote from James: "It was like a shooting gallery, and we were the ducks." But despite letting in twelve goals, I am told that James did a very good job in net, stopping at least another fifty goals or so. And the defense, he tells me, was excellent too. Good job, team.
